Surah Muhammad (S.A.W) 1.31

Benefits of Surah Muhammad:

• It is believed that reciting this Surah will result in quenching one's thirst with the drink from the rivers of Jannah, as mentioned in the commentary by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).
• The reciter of this Surah is said to never harbor doubts regarding their religion.
• One will be safeguarded from any form of shirk or disbelief.
• A thousand angels are said to send salutations to the believer's grave upon their death.
• Upon rising from the grave, believers are promised to behold the blessed countenance of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H).
• If an individual inscribes and keeps this Surah, they are believed to be shielded from all forms of evil and problems, whether awake or asleep.

Surah Muhammad, also known as Surah Al-Qital which translates to "fighting", is part of Madni Surahs that provide guidance specific to a community and address the challenges they encounter.

About Surah Muhammad (S.A.W):

This Surah was revealed subsequent to the victory of Muslims in the Battle of Badr. It recounts the significant events and miracles that unfolded during this battle.

Battle of Badr:

Also known as 'Ghazwa Badr', this battle transpired on Tuesday, 13th March in the 2nd year of Hijrat, against the Quraysh tribe from Makkah, following the purpose of upholding and nurturing Islam.

• The Muslim army comprised 313 individuals, including six armored soldiers, eight swords, 70 camels, and two horses, with notable figures like Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A), Hazrat Umar (R.A), Hazrat Ali (R.A), and others.
• In contrast, the non-Muslim force numbered 1000, well-equipped with 600 armored soldiers armed with weapons, accompanied by 700 camels and 300 horses.
• Despite disadvantages in resources and water availability at Badr for Muslims, a miraculous rain replenished their water supply overnight.
• An unexpected windstorm dismantled the non-Muslim tents while they were complacent in anticipation of victory over Muslims during gambling activities.

The central theme of Surah Muhammad revolves around the clash between truth-seekers (Muslims) and falsehood perpetuators (non-believers), serving as a test for believers' unwavering faith in Allah amidst adversity.
